03.07 - Oystercatcher in Kauai for Hyatt’s “Ultimate Adventure Challenge”
Oystercatcher joined Curium Studios, a branch of Chicago advertising agency, Critical Mass, in Kauai beginning production of Hyatt’s “Ultimate Adventure Challenge”. The webisode adventure series will be filmed this summer and Oystercatcher will be there to head up the video crew.

3.07 – “Up a Creek” an Oystercatcher Production was recently accepted in to the Waterwalker Film Festival in Canada, where it received Honorable Mention and will join the festival's travelling show. It was also featured at the National Paddling Film Festival in Lexington, KY in February and the Swansea Film Festival in Wales.

2.07- Oystercatcher teamed up with Chicago production company, Really Really Big Industries at Super Bowl XLI to produce multiple videos covering Motorola’s presence throughout the Super Bowl Week in South Beach, Miami, and Palm Beach, Florida.

1.07- Oystercatcher traveled to Colombia on a PBS funded documentary shoot featuring the story of a group of hippopotamus imported by infamous drug-lord Pablo Escobar in the 1980’s. The hippos have managed to survive and flourish in their unnatural land. The story has quickly developed as these large animals have multiplied from two to eighteen. While bringing tourism to the area of Puerto Triunfo, they are large and untamed animals, posing a threat to local villages. It will be a fascinating environmental, historical, and cultural film due to broadcast in the summer of 2007.

12.06 – Oystercatcher had two images featured online in Chicago Magazine’s Annual Photography contest. Both pieces won recognition in the magazine’s editor voted contests, winning Runner-Up and Honorable Mention. In the online viewers vote, both Photos won First prize in their respective categories: Neighborhoods & Getting Around.

12.06- Oystercatcher teamed up with Chicago production company Really Really Big Industries to produce a short piece covering the opening of The Discovery World Museum in Milwaukee. The new Techno Jungle Experience was made a reality thanks to a $5 million donation from Johnson Controls (JCI), headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

10.06 – “Red Plateau”, an Oystercatcher Production about the geology of the Colorado Plateau was a featured selection at the Element Film Festival in Bozeman, Montana.
