February 2010 - After completion of the humeral head video featuring Dr. Cole, the cartilage graft distribution company, Joint Restoration Foundation, contacted us to create a series of new surgical techniques featuring JRF grafts. This 6 or 7-part video surgical series will be shot over the next few months around the US.

January 2010 - Oystercatcher kicks off New Year with partner, Octane Rich Media, filming a short spot for Thermos Ambiente. We were happy to put our underwater video skills to use in this commercial campaign promoting the use of re-usable water bottles. The video will be featured at a trade show in Germany this month.

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush

December 2009 - Finishing up a great year, Oystercatcher filmed a ground-breaking surgical technique with Dr. Brian Cole of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Dr. Cole is a renowned sports-medicine surgeon and will be featuring this technical video at the 2010 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Conference in New Orleans. The video highlights the technical approach to a procedure for young patients with shoulder arthritis where a humeral head osteochonral allograft and marrow stimulation of the glenoid were performed.

November 2009 - For the second time in three months, Oystercatcher produced a large video with new client, Flashpoint Medica out of New York. This video followed a breast cancer specimen through the Pathology Lab at University of Rochester Medical Center. The video will be the feature piece at the Herceptin Sales Meeting 2010.

November 2009 - Oystercatcher recently shot a short segment on the fear of heights, featuring the new Chicago Willis Tower Skydeck Ledge (formerly the Sears Tower). The shoot examined what it’s like to be up 1,353 feet standing outside the building’s walls in a glass box!

The video will highlight environmental building initiatives in Chicago, and will be played at Greenbuild 2009 in Phoenix and on the USGBC - Chicago website leading up to Greenbuild 2010 in Chicago.

September 2009 - Oystercatcher will produce a video for the educational lab of the museum’s latest exhibit, You the Experience, opening in October 2009. The video will introduce the lab with a high-energy video exploring daily activities around emergency rooms and operating rooms of hospitals. It will be shot in late August at Mercy Hospital in Chicago.
